Basic Search

Basic Search allows you to search for a file based on its name or content.

To perform a Basic Search:

  1. To search within your current directory listing, click on the search button in the top toolbar.
  2. Enter the word or partial word in the name of the file you wish to find in the All or part of the file name field.
  3. Select a category by clicking the radio button, if one is assigned to the document being searched for.
  4. Enter the directory or directory path within My Vault or My Workspaces in which to search. If the exact path is unknown, the user may also "Browse", to a directory to be searched.
  5. Click "Search".

The search results display a list of the files matching your criteria. From here, you may open the file or perform any other option available to you from the top toolbar.
